What is the name of your state? MICHIGAN, Hi,today i get a letter stuck in my door summons to go to court for eviction, first of any kind of anything since i haven't been paying my payments to the mortage company,i am over a year late. along with this letter is several others attahed-complaint termination of tenancy, real estate transfer tax, exhibit a-property description, evidence of sale,non-military affidavit, affidavit of purchaser. all those at one time together. sounds to me that it already sold, so my question is- Why would i go to court ,when i will just move out before the court date ? if i don't show up in court what will happen ? will they come looking for me ? i guess i will go live in a tent,i have no choices, and i am really worried. PLEASE answer me with good solid legal advice. bless

Sounds like you have NO defense against the charges so it wouldn't make any difference if you show or not... they are still going to get a judgment against you.
And since a judgment in Michigan is good for 10 years and renewable, better count on them coming after you for the next 20 plus years... with accruing interest!!

I Need A Honest Legal Answer, How Will They Come After Me ?
JETX told you how in his first response.
"They" will get a judgement against you and put liens on your properties and possibly garnish your wages (I don't know if they do that in MI).
They will not arrest you. This is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.
