I live in Greeneville Tennessee, and my question is. In 1992 I entered into a rent-to-own contract with a local realtor, in which the deed to the house was put into my name. After aprox 1 year, I fell on hard times & got behind in payments. The realtor told me to move, and being nieve I did. Just recently I discovered that the house is still in my name, listing me as legal owner. The house is being rented at this time . Can he legally rent this property while it is still registered to me? What course of action can I take in this matter?
