What is the name of your state (NY). Endangered by a foreclosure proceeding. Served with judicial foreclosure complaint via bank's lawyer. Summons already filed in Supreme Court. What can I do?

If you are unable to pay all that you owe so far, you will be losing your house, and will owe what remains on your mortgage after the bank gets around to short selling your house. What you can do, if you have no means to settle the issue (which can be harder, now), is look for another place to live. If your finances are borderline, you may be able to negotiate the debt for better terms. Maybe you can tell us what brought you to this situation so we can understand what alternatives you might have.
