we need help.my husband and i were forced to buy another home due to an accident i sustained in 1998. we have been unable to sell our old home and cannot continue to afford two mortgages, taxes, heat, etc... etc... Can we just stop making all payments on this house including taxes and everything and let the bank take it?

Could they then touch our present home or my husbands salary or any of our assets? This is what concerns us most.

The situation is so bad that my husband had to be hospitalized due to stress from the financial burden.

Please e-mail me as soon as possible. I need help soon!

1. go with him and seek suicide counseling and seek other help.

2. consult a BK attorney/foreclosure workout specialst.
I don't know how you were forced to buy home #2 but let's see if you guys can get some relief.
Research short sale and deed-in-lieu of foreclosure. Post back.

**A: Bankruptcy attorney.

**A: look for an attorney www.attorneypages.com, your local Bar Association, yellow pages.....
A deed in lieu is not a person but an act of giving the property back to the mortgage lender in lieu of the lender filing foreclosure.
