What is the name of your state? Florida

Hello & Thank you for taking the time to read my question.

I was recently let go and filed for unemployment. The original decision was not in my favor, which I couldn't understand why, so I filed an appeal. I received the appeal paperwork Monday and was completely SHOCKED!

The paperwork submitted by my previous employer is bogus. These items were not completed or signed by me, but yet there was my name in someone else’s handwriting!

Why would a company do this? How could a company legally do this? They submitted this to the Unemployment office as FACT.

What do I do? - I pulled out my 96' divorce papers, my mortgage papers, receipts, cancelled checks and my signature looks the same on every paper except the forgeries!

Who do I call? Who can I give this too? Oh GOD help - I can't believe this. These documents state that I resigned, no wonder the unemployment claim was denied.

I immediately called the unemployment office about this, they told me to bring it up during the appeal conference call. How do I show them that the signatures are bogus over the telephone?

I would be grateful for any advise - I haven't a clue what to do. :)What is the name of your state?

If I were you, I would contact your local District Attorneys office and explain your situation to them. If there was fraud committed, they will handle it.
