What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? manitoba

I just sold a boat. I met the guy an hour and half from home, as he came from a long ways away. Now, when i wrote up my bill of sale I forgot to write 'as is' on it anywhere. It was a used boat, motor and trailer. All 2003 model. What kind of repercussions could I be dealing with. What could they come after me for, and in what time frame. I have contacted them and they refuse to write it on. Please help.
