Connecticut and New York:

A former co-worker is refusing to do business with my current employer. We both no longer work for the company where we met. But because of a mis-understanding 8 years ago, she holds a grudge against me and tells my employer that she "will not do business" unless my employer "fires" me.

Does my employer, or do I, have any recourse at all?

Inteference with contract

The former co-worker may be liable to you for interference with a contractual relationship (or similar tort under NY law). If you get fired, then you might be able to sue the former co-worker for damages.
