What is the name of your state?undefinedWhat is the name of your state?TN

I was recently terminated from a contract position at a manufactoring plant. The HR rep informed me that no information about my termination would be given to employers or persons outside of company management.

Three weeks later I find that someone from my former employer has told several people in my community the entire situation (along with false statements) and it has spread thoughout my community until it reached me via a friend....

Do I have cause for legal action?

Damage would be personal damage due to slander of my good name.I am a youth pastor and well established member of the community and there are damaging "false" statements being made from my former employer.

I am trying to help on these forums, but again there is insufficient detail.

What exactly are they saying? How long did you work there? How much were you paid?

Tell me the WHOLE freaking story, you haven't given me anything to go on.

I will ask this question one time and if you don't answer it will be a cold day in hell before you receive any help. You've already played enough with the truth now try answering.

WHAT EXACTLY is being said about you?
