My past employer has made statements to current employees that I am an Alcoholic and stated she had smelled alcohol on my breath on several occasions at work. These statements are completely false. I must admit I received a DWI 7 years ago long before I began working for this employer. My concern is that I worked as a Youth Case Manager and instructor of a GED class and if these kind of statemnets are being made to employees what kind of job references have or will I receive. I consider this harassment. Is there anything I can do legally to stop these comments.
