I have a question that is similar to another one in here as far as a roommate taking off and not paying for any of the bills that he stated that he would pay but he also left all of his belongings here and has made one attempt to get them, but i told him i wanted some money before he could have them. That was almost 3 months ago and i haven't heard a word from him. My question is who owns this stuff now nd what legal right do i have to do anything with it. It is taking up a bedroom and part of the hallway too. He lived here for 4 months without giving me any money at all.Can i sell it to get the money that is owed me since i have not heard from him and no way to get in contact with him. I am on disability so the extra money would help pay for the bills that he help create, please help me! thank u

You need to read the advice that was offered on the other similar post that you reference.

1) You cannot unilaterally sell another's property without taking full efforts to return them. Doing so could be considered "Conversion", which is tantamount to theft.
You should send the debtor a letter (certified RRR) advising that his property is there, describe the property, and give him a reasonable deadline (5 days from receipt) to arrange for his picking it up. Then, you cannot hold it ransom unless your lease agreement specifically gives you that right.

2) Send him a second letter (demanding payment for unpaid rent and fees). Detail what and how much. Again, demand that he contact you within a reasonable time. If he doesn't, then you will need to consider litigation.
