i need help fast! the 17 month i have in my foster home may be returned to his mother even though the county is questionable about his safety but mom is doing just enough to validate the reunification goal. He is a medically fragile child and mom is not equipped to care for him though she goes through the motions and says what she should say to convince the workers. his medical status will be greatly compromised and i fear for his safety and future progress. he was taken under medical neglect and she has 2 validated child abuse charges against her now. what can be done to safeguard this child? his child advocate only shows up at the hearings and gets briefed by the county worker so he does not get the entire picture only what she wants him to see. what can i legally do to protect him? can i get another child advocate, do i have the right to speak to this one, does anyone have to speak to the doctors and professionals regarding his well being or is it just all about his mothers rights? help!
Pennsylvania!!
