Found guilty with no defense

Briefly, my husband was charged in a Pennsylvania federal court of fraud stemming from his business association with a doctor whose coding practices for medicare reimbursement were called into question. It was only a job, we did not share in the profits of the doctor's practice. Due to a series of economic reversals, we were not able to mount a proper defense. We could not afford the legal fees at the times requiring responses in court. We are broke, unemployed with no assets or equity except social security, and the recipients of a $16,000,000 judgement. What is going to happen now? This is like a black hole. It has absorbed whatever extra money we were ever able to raise. Our primary concern is what will the authorities take if we have no money. Where there is a will, there is a way . . . some claim.

It's a snow ball in hell chance, and it requires YOU to learn some things that may sound strange, but you should be able to take care of this problem yourself.
