Looking for advice on how to solve my problem. Here it is...I am a member of a fraternity. When entering into the fraternity you agree to follow the bylaws of the fraternity and individual college chapter. After I made this agreement I was notified of an ammendment to our chapter bylaws..which states if not all spots in the chapter house are taken voluntarily , then it is hereby stipulated that members will be obligated to spend one year in the house. Ultimately forcing me into a contract to spend money on rent when I currently have free housing, and can't afford to pay the cost of rent. I'm looking for laws I can quote in order to repeal this ammendment, since our bylaws must follow state and federal law.
