I'm having a hard time believing that my ex-wife was able to repossess a vehicle without my consent or knowledge and there's nothing i can do about it.
3 years ago while serving in korea my ex-wife and i had a falling out. we decided that upon me returning to the states wed file for divorce and go seperate ways, well 2 wks prior to me coming home she repossed a vehicle in which we were both applicants to, myself being the primary. A property dispute was never filed during the divorce proceedings ( since it was in PA and i was stationed in KY ) and the only things ever discussed as far as the divorce was concerned was child support. earlier this week i get a call stating a class action lawsuit for $10,000 is being filed against me. My ex-wife bleeds she is bankrupt and the finance company has all but washed their hands of her.
As i said, she and i never talked about the issue of repossessing the car. yet it seems since i was primary, im the one being slammed. some judicial system.
If anyone has some insight on this i would sure appreciate it.
