What is the name of your state? michigan. I was fired because i called in on the clock 2 1/2 hours before i actually arrived..not knowing it would take me this long to arrive on the bus after my car broke own. they said it was fraud.( I SCREWED UP) Isn't it fraud if they get paid when they know i am not at work...they dock my pay... (it is there job to send a replacement.but they dont) but the clients bill is not adjusted..YET THEY GET PAID ANYWAY?

Are you saying you "clocked in" remotely and then didn't arrive at work for 2-1/2 more hours? Why would you clock in remotely to begin with rather than when you arrived at work???

it sounds like he was on his way out to a clients place of business and called into work to say when he would be a the clients place or when he starts at the clients place? and that his employer bills the client and gets paid even if no one shows up and they don't send a replacement????

It sounds to me like the OP committed fraud by clocking in 2.5 hours before he actually started work and he's mad because his employer called this fraud...when his employer billed the client for the OP's 2.5 hours' worth of time (even though the OP wasn't working those 2.5 hours).

If I've got this right, OP, then sorry, your fraudulent behaviour isn't negated by your employer's fraudulent behaviour...you BOTH committed fraud.
