What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I purchased DVDs online and paid with a Citibank credit card. When I received them, it became apparent that they were pirated programs and not what was advertised.

I disputed the charge with Citibank and sent them all the information.

The DVDs came from China with no return address. I had no knowledge of this when I ordered the DVDs

I have attempted to contact them via email, but they do not respond.

Today, I got a letter from the bank stating that since I had not supplied them with information, my card was being re-charged, and the dispute closed.

I phoned the bank (Citibank, South Dakota) and got an operator who would not assist me. She told me the same thing the letter told me.

The letter threatens my credit rating if I do not pay.

Do I have any remedies? Thank you! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
