What is the name of your state? I'm in California but the company is in Florida.

On 9/20 I saw an internet ad on google for a free $1000 gas card for
a year if I complete 6 of their sposor offers. On 9/24 I went to
their website directly(not a link) and I completed the offers
required to receive a $1000 gas card. On their website my gift
status showed that my offers were completed and my gift was ready to
be sent.

On 9/26/05 I printed and faxed(as required by them) from their
website to them the $1000 shell gas voucher showing that I completed
the required offers and that I'm eligible to receive the gas card.

On 9/27/05 I spoke to one of their representatives who told me that
they received my faxed voucher and that my gas card will be shipped
within 2 weeks.

On 10/11/05 I called to check on the status and a lady by the name
of Summer told me that they will not send it because they require 15
completed offers not just the six that I completed. Their website
at the time I completed the offers required 6 offers to receive the
$1000 gas card but now she said they require 15 offers. My gift
status shows that its fulfilled and ready to ship but they said that
I must not have completed the offers from their website but I did.
Now when I try to go to onlinerewardcenter.com I don't see the
offers page anymore and I'm not sure what they did to change their
website but when I enter my email address I still see that I
fulfilled my requirements and that my gift is being sent.

If you go to their website and enter my email address you'll see
that my status says "We have received and processed your Gift
Redemption Voucher, and a Shipping Request has been issued."

They're claiming that I didn't fill out the forms from
their website and that it must be a fake link. However, everytime I
wanted to complete one of their offers I would go directly to their
website and it would show the sponsor offers page but now that page
doesn't show anymore. If you go to their website
www.onlinerewardcenter.com , click on "gift status" and then type my
email address: [email protected] and you'll see for
yourself.

I'm curious to know what my rights are, if any. I'd appreciate any feedback on this as I've spent money completing
the offers and buying stuff and I expected them to send the card.

Thank you very much for your help!

I always say if it sounds to good to be true then it is. I now a lady who attempted this and she had to complete 6 offers as well. One of the offers included contacting friends via email. After she completed 6 offers she wanted her free gift but was told that her friends she included in the offers now had to complete 6 offers of there own. Then the scam just keeps going on and on and on. You can check with the BBB (better business bureau) of Florida to see if you can file a complaint.

Please keep in mind 9 times out of 10 these scams require you to pay money so if you didn't spend a dime then chances are you didn't complete the right offers.

I can tell you how to get your card, but before I do, I have a check here for $5000 from a Nigerian prince that I can't cash because I don't have the proper identification. What I'll do is send it over to you, and if you can cash it for me and send me the money, you can keep $200 for your troubles.

What do you think?

These things are just a way for these companies to drum up more business.
I don't even open them anymore. It's not a FREE gift card, if you have to make purchases from 6 "vendors" in order to get it!!!
It's a crock of crap, and tons of people fall for it every day.

It's like a huge chain letter published via e-mail - you complete this account, give us the names of 6 people - but THOSE 6 people have to complete 6 "surveys"
Please. Cut your losses now and chalk it up to an awful learning experience
