Free College Tuition due to Foster Care

My son who is now 14 was placed in foster care , for 3 months , this happened five years ago .

Since then I have full custody of him . I had someone tell me that if a child has every been in Foster Care ... that they get a free college education ( the foster mother told me ) Does anyone know if this is true ?


I would appreciate any input on this ~

I think it only applies if the child is still in foster care. 3 months is probably not going to get your child a free college education.
