Exactly. His realtor should have pointed that out to him if he was that clueless. I've never heard of anyone buying any type of residence without an inspection.

I too suggest looking into a heated flooring system ALSO talk to your electric utility to learn if they offer off peak electric services tied to the installation of off peak heating storage equipment where the unit generates and stores heat at night ( lower rate ) then distributes that stored heat in the day time.
