I recently recieved a notice from PJAX shipping company that I owe them $123.56 to cover the freight charges of some fencing that I recieved over a year ago. The fencing was ordered from Hoover Fencing in Ohio and shipping was included in the price I paid. Hoover had the fence drop shipped from the manufacturer (Jerrith Manufactoring) and was delivered via PJAX to my home in WV. The shipper contends that neither Jerrith or Hoover paid the freight charges and, according to Federal Transporation law, I am personaly liable.

The purchase contract I had was with Hoover Fence. I never contracted with either Jerrith or PJAX.... can I really be made to pay the freight charges again?

Thanks!
