What is the name of your state?I live in california. since I have been working for a small plumbing business I have received paid holidays. about 2 months ago the company started working on a government job which requires him to pay me prevailing wages. since he is paying me these wages, he has cut out my holiday pay. He says I have exceeded my holiday pay and will no longer pay my holidays, because holiday and prevailing wages are concidered fringe benefits. This makes no sense to me.
