What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Hawaii

I've been on Worker's Compensation for a work related injury for almost 2 1/2 years now and I've seen 5 Orthopedic Specialist who told me I was too young to a total knee replacement. My right knee is now totally "bone on bone" and the doctors told me to wait till I cannot take anymore pain. Also, they told me to wait to the point where I cannot get out of bed and walk. Anyways, this is injury took place at my first job working full-time. I also, have a second full time job too. The doctor now has me working only 3 day per week and she told me this applies to my second job too. The first job is much more physical then my second job and I prefer to just work at my second full time. At this point I'm not happy at my first job.

My question to you is, should I settle out? I would not like to work another 10 years to wait for a total knee replacement. I'm also not happy working at my first job. My boss is making it uncomfortable for me. I would like to move on to my second job and work full time with higher pay wage. I feel this first job is holding me back.

I suggest that you NOT make any decisions before consulting with an attorney in your state experienced in representing work comp claimants.

The adjusters for your boss's workman’s compensation insurance carrier are not paid to spend their company’s money. So level the playing field!
