What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Will a judge find contempt for a parent not willing to "happily" or at all encourage a good relationship with the other parent?
GO AWAY! You never listen and have been told this. GO AWAY. GO AWAY. GO AWAY. But first turn your child over to children service's so that he may be put in foster care.

Short answer: Yes. A judge might go as far as to let Dad have custody. He can't be as bad at this as you are.

ive tried talking to dad about issues, he doesnt cooperate and only argues back instead of helping so if my son doesnt wanna go i am not going to make him we are supposed to be helping my son and he continues to argue an fight. last week my son told me dads "wife" family threatened to beat him up if he didnt listen its becoming a problem so hes not allowed to go with her family anymore during times my ex is working

See, I have finally met someone who I despise more than local CPS. I didn't think it was possible. But yep. Foster care for ALL of her children. So what should be the theme today.

Why because i dont foster a relationship between dad and my son when dad is selfish? Why is it ok for her family to threaten MY son? She isn't his mom and they are not his family. He has gotten in trouble for calling them such

It sounds like you are attempting to brainwash your son and inflict your own emotional instability into dads house. You will deserve to be found guilty of contempt, for not making your son go to dads. If dad is really lucky, the judge will give him sole custody and only allow you supervised visitation until your son is old enough to understand your actions.

my son knows dad has not been there all his life and that his "wife" and her family comes first why is it ok for them to threaten my son when thats not his family? I tried letting them have a relationship only does bad for my son grades dropped since

Then be a real parent and fix it. We are only getting your side of the story. You appear to have a history of making flaky, poor decisions. You need to grow up and learn how to work with dad to solve issues as they come up. The problem seems to be you are not intelligent enough to manage that.
