What is the name of your state? Florida

Ok... Here's the situation. I (as stupid as it may have been) was trying to buy a Playstation 3 from a seller that supposibly had 7 & was selling them for $269 through the buy it now option. That was this past sunday. I though that that was a pretty good deal. I decided the jump on it since the seller had a 100% reputation & had sold over 20 items. (I know, I know... stupid). Before I bought it, I asked the seller a question & he/she responded quickly. After I purchased the item & received a receipt through paypal, I asked when I would receive it & I did not receive a response. After 2 days of no response I emailed Ebay. That was yesterday. I have not received a response from ebay yet. Today I attempted to check the sellers ebay store but it was not there. I also found out the seller was no longer registered with ebay as of today. Do I have any recourse against the buyer? If you want to check it out, the item # in ebay was 200096089520. The sellers ebay name was bigtexk. The store name was Kelly's Connection.

If anyone feels real bad for me, they can get me a PS3 if they want : )

First you always have to be careful when you buy something that seems too good to be true. Most people know you can't get a $500 electronic for half the price.

Second, you have to be patient. Ebay gets thousands, maybe more, of emails each day about complaints and they likely don't have that many people working to answer them. Don't expect to get a response within 24 hours. That is just the way it goes.

File a complaint with ebay, file a complaint with paypal (if that is how you paid) and then call your credit card company and see if there is anything they can do for you. Be polite when you call though b/c it's not their fault you made a dumb mistake.

Also, you should take your real name off your posts ... who knows what kind of crazies are on this board.

Good luck!

I had this image in my head of meeting someone in person, giving him money, and then him literally running away.
