I started at GCU during the spring semster of 2009-2010. Finiancial aid awarded. BUT, I WAS UP FOR VERIFICATION. VERIFICATION WAS COMPLETED 6 TIMES WITHIN THE COURSE OF A MONTH AND SUBMITTED TO GCU. my EFC WAS 0. ACADEMIC TEAM CHANGED THREE TIMES IN ONE YEAR. VERIFICATION STARTED BY GCU IN FEBRUARY DIDNT COMPLETE TILL 11/19/2010.STILL FINANCIAL AID WAS NOT ABLE TO BE GIVEN TO ME DESPITE VEERFICATION KEEPING MY EFC 0.I spoke to FAFSA help and they said I was entittled that money. I have no idea what gcu did with it but to boot they want to charge me !(ISN'T THAT FINACIAL AID FRAUD ?). My account balance for 12 units was 12,000 dollars and I was being charged for unenrolled classes that I could not access. Now my account balance is $0.00 dont have any idea how that happened and they are witholding my transcript . I do not owe them because finaid covered it. As a result , i cant complete my education at FPU(local university) because the GCU transcript is missing! help ! I need transcript asap and I lost my job as a direct result of GCU's shenaigans! CAN I SUE TO GET MY TRANSCRIPT, PAIN AND SUFFERING AND MY WOULD HAVE BEEN SALARY ?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
