What is the name of your state? West Virginia

First off I should mention that I am an appointed official. I am a chairperson for a local water district.

One reporter that I always tell, "No Comment" has recently published lies about me on his website and even posted pictures of me with lies below them. I emailed him and asked him to remove my pictures and the comments and he just put my emails on his website. I never gave him permission to photograph me outside of a public meeting.

My concern is that now that I have announced that I am running for a County Commission (highest elected official in our small community) is that he is slamming me even more now. Telling people that I do not diclose records, don't want my picture out in public, blah blah. You get the picture.

Do I have any recourse against him?
