What is the name of your state? I live in Pennsylvania.
I just received papers saying I am one of 3 defendents being sued by someone in Illinois [United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division] I consider myself an innocent party to this suit and would like to know if and how I can request being excused from this suit?

Thank you for your kind reply. What happens if it goes into default? It would seem that 10 years would have been enough time to get a hearing for a new sentence.

Vacated Sentence

Hi. The case is Criminal , drug related and he is currently incarcerated. However as I had mentioned, his sentence was vacated in 1992 but nothing has been remedied as of this date. I appreciate your responses.
