What is the name of your state?Florida
What are the policies on getting paid while driving a company vehicle? FOr instance, we work for a telephone locating company, some of the guy's that work for us live about 2 hours from there designated work area, keep in mind we bring our work trucks home everyday. We are supposed to be on our first ticket by 7:30 am every morning (M-F) and some of the guys have to drive 2 hr's or more to get to that ticket, should they be getting paid for that drive as well as the drive back home at the end of the day? Are there any Florida laws that state this?

There are no laws in Florida or any other state that require you to get paid for making your regularly scheduled drive to work.

Yes. They're not obligated to pay for their mileage or gasoline costs either. If they didn't however, chances are they'd have a lot of turnover as employees would conclude they couldn't afford to work for this company.
