My husband and I bought a modular home (trailer) last year in April. The dealer we bought it from kept making mistakes but we finally got a walkthrough done in June with a detailed list of all the things they would fix, since it had been a model and there were minor things here and there. We still do not have everything fixed.
Recently the company we bought the home from went out of business and was bought by another company. The new company said they would only cover warranty work. All of ours was cosmetic. They turned it over to the manufacturer who made the same claim.
Are we stuck with making the remaining repairs on our own?
Or can we force or sue the new company to honor the agreements we have in writing with the original company?
