What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona
An acquaintenance of mine asked if she could store her things in our garage for one month because she was moving out of state back in August. She agreed to pay storage fees of $50. At that time she did not give us any money for storage. She responded by saying she would send $50 for August the following Monday but did not have September money. She also stated that she would be out by October 3 to pick up her things. She has continually sent messages saying she was coming to get her stuff and still hasn't nor has she paid anymore money. Can I legally sell her things now?

was any of it in writting ? if not I would suggest at least giving her 30 days (up to you to verify if that much time is needed) written notice via certified mail telling her to get her things or you will treat them as abandoned and dispose of them . if she doesnt pick up her mail keep the original sealed certified letter with the reciept and if she sues you for disposing of her things she can explain to the court why she refused to pick up her mail as the court delivers it to her for you.
