I have sold my house received the check from the title company and ask my girlfriend to deposit the check into my mother's Chase checking account because she was a Chase member. Had given her my mother's account info she inadvertently wrote her account number on deposit slip and deposited the check into her account and cannot recover my money what can I do. More details pertaining. this is the body of the information

So you’re saying your girlfriend stole your money, and you’re still calling her your girlfriend?

I would start with the police.
Your only other action would be to sue her in civil court. It’s likely going to require an attorney so start hunting for one.

Unless there is something missing in your post there is no good reason your GF cannot write an equivalent check on her account to you or Mom .....there might be a few days delay in availability of funds ....to her or to next place .....and she cannot write a safe check to clear until funds are available to her account...might be 3-4 days even if deposit was a supposedly certified check. ....Might this be the nature of the " mistake " ..

I think it's unwise to use Moms account absent some reasons you are not posting , you should have your own account lest any problems with Mom were to arise.

IF you GF refuses to back out the funds to you in a few days , then you have a police issue for starters , it's probably a form of theft by deception or conversion.
