undefinedWhat is the name of your state? Pennsylvania.
End of July applied for new credit card. Received letter back from Chase saying negative information from Equifax Credit Bureau. Called Equifax told them I wanted Free Credit Report because of this. Got credit card report, five negative inquiries on there. One of them was a Mortgage dispute from
3/2004 with Equifax Mortgage Services. we owned three homes in 35 years.
1.1973
2.1993
3.2003 Never had any problems with getting these. we have a very good credit reputation (or so we thought) Called the other four credit companies
Equifax said were problems. Each and everyone said I had a excellent record. Called Equifax told them damage was already done, by then I must have gotten over 100 E-Mails & letters saying my bad credit could be fixed.
Eventhough Equifax took negative reports off. Applied for another credit card, got rejected because of this. Called Washington they said there was nothing I could do except get a lawyer . I feel this has ruined my credit reputation plus this was out and out lies about me. I don't Know What I could. In my eyes this is slander and defamation of my name. Could someone help? Sincerely, Catherine Meixner
