Good father trying to figure out a way to see son

I have a friend that is a very good father. He pays child support on time every month, and his ex won't let him see his son. They haven't gotten to court yet but are supposed to go in two months. She even put a no contact order on him so he can't call to arrange a time to see his son. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. If he calls her, then he will be not following the order, and could be arrested. Can anyone tell me how I can advise him of how to see his son. Thank you in advance!

Realistically if the issue is already in court, then he needs to deal with it through court.....anything else may just cause more problems.
