my sister received boxes at her home containing a brand new gateway computer. the invoice had her name and address and the description of the computer but nothing about how it was paid for or who paid for it. it did have an order # though. she called gateway and they said it was a bank (not her bank though) that puchased the computer and she has 28 days to try out the computer and if she does not want it then they will send her tags so she can ship it back. i believe the bank puchased the computer and will send her a bill saying she would then have to pay for it after the 28 days. but wouldn't that be fraud since they sent the computer under false pretenses. our first impression of the system was that maybe she entered a contest or something and won it, but i certainly don't think she would have to pay for it. We live in Oklahoma, and the banks location is unknown at this time.
