Michigan Is there a category for the the exemption to governmental immunity where a deputy sheriff causes damage while riding a personal watercraft (PWC) that is used under the motor vehicle exemption. Unfortunately he was on duty , he was pursuing a jet boat that had an injury onboard and had to pass thru an area that had pontoons anchored, we watch the jet boat get to shore when we were struck by the PWC, its my opinion although I never saw it , was that the
PWC was going too fast and when he released the thottle control to slow down lost the ability to control his steering and ended up hitting my pontoon causing damage .
