My Girlfriend just moved down to florida with me, she a year younger then me in school but took all the classes she was TOLD she needed to graduate.

earlier this year we recieved a phone call from her guidance counsiler informing her that she will be recieve a diploma because she did not satisfy all the neccessary requirements...

but heres the catch.

the same guidance counsiler who called her, had a meeting before she left indiana (about a week before she moved) telling her everything was good to go and SHE WOULD RECIEVE A DIPLOMA at the end of the school year and it would be mailed to her. (the problem they say anadamy sp? was not a science, rather an elective).

The Guidance counsiler has admitted fault to both my girlfriend and her father. he suggested a law suit but we can't afford it right now so we want to look into our case before we proceed.

what do you peoples think.

thanks.

**A: is this diploma for completion of grade school or high school?

If she can't spell any better than you she shouldn't get a diploma for anything. But you both might have a case against the school for wasting 12 years and not educating you.

Usually anatomy would be considered a science class, but in Indiana who knows. Maybe they consider studying the human body more like poetry. ;)
