My grandfather resided in Texas and recently passed away. Over a year ago his common law wife talked him into signing over power of attorney to there so called caregiver. The common law wife has since passed away and my grandfather was put in a nursing home with alzheimers and stroke. The lady signed everything over to herself including life insurance policies and so on. If she could get money from it she signed it over to herself, if it requires her to spend money she left that to the blood relatives. Is there a way to prove that my grandfather was not in his right mind when he signed over power of attorney from his son to a total stranger? Is there a way to make her life a living hell since she took advantage of the elderly? Thank you.
