What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
California.

My Grandma passed away almost 4 years ago and her will was over 20 years old and very outdated. My mother was named the executor and she didn't even get along with Grandma in the later years!!! Now my mother refuses to give the family any info on our inheritance money except to say the money is to be paid upon the sale of my grandma's house, yet mother refuses to show anyone a copy of the will.
Grandma's house is over 45 years old and really run down, 4 other properties on the same block that are much newer have not sold in the past 4years so I know this house will not be sold soon.
Also, my mother hires people she knows to do the repair and clean up work at grandma's house and pays them a certain amount and then gets a receipt for MUCH more to submit to the trust for reimbursement, these people have told us what she is doing, but they are intimitated by her and are scared to come forward.
I have 3 questions:

#1 Is there anyway I can get a copy of the whole will? Mother will not even tell any family the name of Grandma's attorney!

#2 It has been 4 years already, is there a time limit?

#3 Is there a way to have mother removed as executor, since she is NOT doing what she was appointed to do??

I have no idea...

My Mother has not told me anything at all about this situation, everytime I ask she makes it seem like I am only after the money! I am trying to be fair but my mother has always been well taken care of by her parents and then her husband, I was adopted by her husband and ever since my Grandma and then my Dad passed away, Mom has become someone I don't even know!
Can I go to the court house and do some kind of public search for Grandma's will?

Go to the county, where grandma died. If probate was opened, get a copy of all of the documents. If it wasn't opened yet, then file to open it which will start the process to gather all of the documents.

The county website usually has some guidance as to what the probate process is, and what needs to be done.

she makes it seem like I am only after the money!
Well isn't that the case, otherwise, why do you even care to be involved with this.
