I HAVE CARED FOR MY GRANDFATHER AT HOME UNTILL HE PASSED AWAY WHILE HAVING ALSO TAKEN CARE OF BED-BOUND GRANDMOTHER FOR PAST FOUR YEARS. HOUSE PROMISED TO ME IN RETURN FOR CARE. NOW DR. ADVISES SNF FOR GRANDMOTHER, CAN I LEGALLY QUIT-CLAIM TO MY NAME NOW?

No....the house would have to signed over to you at least 3 to 5 years before going into a nursing home, and applying for medicaid!

The expenses of you grandmother will be taken out of the house when she dies, i guess you should had this in writing years ago.

As long as YOU pay for her expenses then you can quit calim the house and its ok, but she cannot recieve any government aid.
