My grandmother is dying. Some younger man has been taking care of her for not even a year. She put her home under his name and he is living at her house while she is living in a nursing home. He drives her car around and is spending her life savings. She says I'm inheriting everything and I will get the home when she passes but until then, he will live there. She is delirious. I met him today and I can tell he is not out for her best interest. He doesn't encourage her to eat. She is literally starving to death. What can I possibly do so this man doesn't take everything my grandmother has?

For about a year now, she has been incompetent. I believe the house was put in his name within the past year.

then it would be a good idea to either hire a lawyer to look into this or contact any entity in your area that deals with elder financial abuse.

Does your grandmother have a will? It appears that someone thought she was competent enough to change the title to her house over to this person. That would require an attorney and a certain amount of trouble, thought and expense. You would need an attorney and talk to the authorities who deal with financial abuse. What evidence do you have that your grandmother has been mentally incompetent for the last year? If this person has been with your grandmother for over a year and you still refer to him as "random guy" it appears you were not very involved with your grandmother's life and care situation till recently.
