What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? California

I am a beneficiary in a living trust that has begun administration 4 months ago. Even though this trust has not completed administration, I am considering writing a will that would grant my inheritance to a loved one in the event that I die before the administration is complete.

Is that possible? If so, what would be an example of the wording? Would a California simple will be adequate to leave my rights?

Although you could say that there may be only a few months left to close the trust and that the time to create a will could make my will moot, the successor trustee has made some correctable mistakes that are causing some delay in the administration. I'd just like to be sure that I can pass along my inheritance to people I care about, for personal reasons.
