I hired a so call respectable company to repair a crack in my basement foundation.
The work was guaranteed for life however it began to leak in the same spot around 4 months later. I called the "Man" and requested him to return to repair the crack again and again. On many occasions he said he would show up and never did. I emailed him and now I have tried to call him and the phone is disconnected. This is almost two years later. A neighbor ran into him and he said it is leaking from another spot and not from where he repaired it. How can he say that he has never been in my house to access that.
I recently had another company come and look at the problem and stated that it was a very poor repair job.I want to take this guy to court I now have a damaged carpet and a stinky basement. I feel the situation would have been different if a man resided here and I have been mistreated because of my sex.
Give me some advice please .....

You can have someone else fix the problem and then go to small claims court to seek a judgment for your costs. Make sure to take some photos of the crack and get a written repair estimate from the new co.
