Hello,
I live in Minnesota and am Autistic by the state. My mother is my legal guardian even though I am 19 years old. I am here in San Antonio visiting my grandparents and my mother has sexually, emotionally, and phyiscally abused me since birth by giving me pill after pill, not letting me do things normal people do; like make a sandwhich, have a sleepover, etc. I want to have her guardianship rights revoked but I do not want to go back up to Minnesota because I know when I get there I will get the same emotional and phyiscal abuse. My question is since I am 19, even though my mom is my legal guardian, do I have the right to not go back to Minnesota if I choose?

No, you do not. You must return to Minnesota or you will get your grandparents into trouble with the law.

Your grandparents however could petition the courts to change the guardianship to them. Or you could petition the courts to have the guardianship revoked if you an prove that its no longer necessary. However you still have to return to Minnesota until a judge orders otherwise.
