My brother has signed his 15 and almost 17yr old girls to our parrents. He now wants them back. Their mother whom is divorced from my brother thinks they should stay with our parents. My question is, the almost 17 yr old refuses to move back in with her Dad because he moved to another town after he signed them over. She does not want to change schools. Because he moved away from them, is this abandonment? What can my niece do to stay where she is at?

At 17 she can stay where she is and no judge is going to force her to move school now.
