What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA

In trying to improve my husband's credit we found out he has 3 judgments in warrant in debt dating back to 2011 & 2012. He never went to court and so he was found guilty. Total due at that time was $10K. His wages were never garnished. We can't pay the whole thing off right now but how do we go about just trying to pay it off. It makes me nervous that he has these 3 judgments and I just want to pay them off. Do we just go to court and ask for more information on where to send payments? What happens now that its been 5 years?

I'm afraid if we reach out to anyone they will make us pay the full amount immediately.
