What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? SD

Question for those of you familiar with the legal system. (This is not research-but based on a conversation my friend and I had)

What's the rate of failure within the judicial system? Meaning how often do innocent people go to prison, and guilty people go free? Are their any stats? Anyway---without stats what is your opinion?

My response:

Within every type of Penal institution, from juvenile to adult, and no matter who you ask, you'll discover that the judicial system is riddled with a 99% failure rate. Time after time, you'll hear, "I didn't do it" or "I'm innocent."
