I'm currently have 1 year left on H1-B visa (five of six years completed), I left the US in April 2001 and am planning to return
in April 2002. I left the US for 1 year in order to fulfull the 1 year
absence required by the INS in order to get a new H1-B for another six years. My question is even though I left while my
current H1-B was still current, will i get a new H1-B with six years
when I Return in April 2002 ?? does it matter that the previous
H1-B visa was still current ??
