Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some advice. I've been working at a local company for a few months already, my visa was aproved on october of last year, but right now the company I work for is closing down, but fortunately I got a job at another similar company where I would be doing the same job. I tried to reach my lawyer to figure out how to transfer my visa because I read in many websites (including the uscis) that I only need to file a new I-129, but I got a message from my lawyer saying that I can't transfer my visa, which sounds a bit strange.

Could anyone give me a little guidance here? I mean, is there anything else besides the I-129 that would be necessary to send? should I get another lawyer or can I file it by myself??

I would really appreciate any comments.
Thanks!!
