Hello,
I am on H1B visa and trying on my available time to trade on the stock market.
I understand that there are restrictions on the number of trades one can make on the stock market when on H1B visa. There is a definition of pattern day-trader which is 4 or more day trades in 5 days - means "extra-job" which is not allowed on H1B. My questions, besides this restriction, are there are additional restrictions on the number of trades I can make per day, week or year? I couldn't find a law which defines this.

stock investment for H1B's

Hi,

I was wondering if you got any more information regarding stock investing for H1B's.

I am looking into investing in stocks for a longer term and would be interested in knowing if there is anything out there preventing H1B folks from doing this?
