Small Claim State of California

Steve - You once advised me as to a list of collection companies in California. Can you do me a favor and get me that link or e-mail me a list of collection companies in California. To bring you up to speed, I have by your advice taken the Debtor back to court for a Debtor's Exam in which he finally showed up and the court had him fill out this form. As per this form the Debtor claimed that he would promise to pay $100.00 a month but never has. The court appearance was back in May. He has since moved his account to some other bank and I have no Idea where that particular bank is. Would it be beneficial for me to hire a private investigator to follow him for awhile and find out where he banks now? Regardless of the P.I. I still need that list of Collection agencies that you gave me before. My judgement amount is only $600.00

Thanks so much Steve (you the man)

I don't believe the previous referral was for 'collection agents', since I believe that they are scum-sucking-bottom-feeders who serve absolutely no benefit to humankind.

But, the referral I gave was for people who are experienced and knowledgable about the process of enforcing civil judgments. Here are two links:
http://www.enforcemyjudgment.com/
http://www.NationalJudgment.Net/states.htm

Also, since your judgment is relatively small, I would suggest you go by a library or bookstore and check on "How to win in Small Claims Court in California". Though you have already won, the last chapter or so will detail processes that you can use to attempt to collect.

Keep us apprised of the status.
